    Plenty of AULRO members would be able to testify this is the truth.

    I was thinking you could also short circuit (or open circuit) the temp sensor as well. A few normally close relays and you could cause all sorts of faults to get multiple warning messages come up.

    I've made my 4.4's EGR butterfly close for 15 seconds when the ignition is switched off as a runaway preventative. It could be made to close on another signal a few minutes after restricted performance is triggered to give a thief a final incentive to abandon the vehicle, although other sensors such as the crankshaft or camshaft position sensor circuit could perhaps more easily be interrupted to stop the engine.

    No, it doesn't, it is supplied by the lP pump before it starts.
