    255/65r19?

I noted in my D4 owners manual an alternate recommendation for 255/65r19 tyres which in effect are 32" compared to the 30" 55 profile. Has anyone tried this size? At 32" would it still fit within the underbody spare space? One would think Landrover wouldn't recommend if it didn't fit?
Duratrac are available with an ok load rating in this size for around 390 a corner. Perhaps an ok option rather than a full set of 18" rims and tyres for those seeking greater sidewall?

    255/65r19?

It is either a typo or you misread. Would be 255/55R19.

I've looked at this (the Duratracs) myself - there won't be a mention in the manual about 255/65 though.

Almost certainly will have issues fitting in the spare wheel at that size, and would likely need to raise the car slightly to avoid rubbing (easy done with GAP tool/rods or similar)

Enticing, but not sure I'm confident enough to be the guinea pig on this one.

Anyone else running 32" rubber out there?

Would fit 255/60 R19 duratracs in a heartbeat if they existed!

I regularly check for new releases in this size with LI 113 or better. The GG AT3 with LI 113 is available in the UK but not here.

Many of the tyre companies list multiple sizes however they only provide a "middle" option.
eg, Hankook with the Dynapro AT M RF10 refer to sizes 265/50R19 and 245/60R19, however they only supply a 255/55R19

Am just going thru all these options at the moment as am almost due for a set of boots.
Duratracs look nice but price is equivalent to the National debt.

Toyo and Hankook seem to be excellent value for money and others here have expressed satisfaction with both.
