Definitely cover the gap. You need to deflect any wayward sticks and rocks.
I have completed the install of the OL Bull Bar and also installed some APT under body guards.
The Bull Bar has the plate to cover the centre of the car to protect the lower radiator and other bits, having put the APT plate on (I painted it black) I am debating whether I should also bolt up the OL centre piece or leave the gap there?
Any thoughts one way or the other.
regards
Geoff

G’day Geoff, looks great, like the colour coding. I have the same bar in black (same as my car).
Mine has the gap covered

Thanks for the replies, I have installed the OL centre plate. If only I knew then what I know now, not sure the APT front plate is really necessary but then it is super protected now and you also cannot see the truck horn trumpet.
Was going to go with the black bar but my wife wanted it colour coded, I think it was a good choice
