Looks like a start, I found a similar but different unit on eBay some time ago and you have prompted me to ask my question.

Has anybody seen or tried this..

Its a long link but I think it will work, I emailed it to myself and it opened up ok.

    Regards
    Geoff

    Tesla style screen

    Is you vehicle post 2012?

If so it should work. Anything 2010-2011 with a basic system (small screen) won’t.

I was wondering how these worked but found a YouTube video with the install. It looks like you retain the existing head unit but remove the old LCD and connect to the new LCD/android unit. Thus the normal touchscreen functions are available - the old screen is literally in the middle of the big screen. Seems like a good solution but interesting to see if someone has one running....

Gofish check this out, very similar but from a more reputable brand -
    Aerpro | First Choice

The very detailed install instructions show you need to cut a centre bar out.

The kit is readily available from online car stereo shops.

    Gofish has a 2011 model - these don’t work.
