So yes, a good solution if your rig is a bitumen queen, if you want the full compliant ride and flex then Hydra-bushes are the go.

At around 80,000km between changes they are excellent value.
What ?, they go up and down exactly like originals and will take the side load better than a hydro and won't leak.

I am about to clock up 250,000km and putting the third set of lower arms on. I am also replacing the hub with a Timken USA bearing hub and also the upper arm and steering ball ends. I have gone genuine as I do only long distances and love the little bit of comfort on the old bones.
I will also some time in the future do the rear hub bearings and arms, as being in aircraft maintenance I tend to replace before failure. It gives me confidence that on the way to a time critical job my car is going to be reliable at least.

The range of motion at flex isn’t straight up and down, that’s the kicker!

Replacing D4 bushes with Range Rover Sport bushes has been suggested to me as a better option.
    Is there anything in this?
    thanks
