    Thanks for the tip on this one loanrangie. Went searching for this as was interested to see what they came up with. Apparently it was designed by a Disco3.co.uk member and the design was shared freely.

    I have always attached my safety chain to the recovery point. The eye holes next to the receiver don’t look as strong.

    I note some in the UK use rated eye bolts to fit this plate and to give two attachment points but in the UK they use breakaway cables on braked trailers and not safety chains.
