Eucalyptus oil is not recommended in plastics as it erodes them.

? Are you sure that is correct,Mike? All my bits haven't come unstuck or fallen over because of degraded Plastic. Maybe that would also depend on the Plastic type or I have been lucky?

NB. When I say bits I am referring to things I have used Euc. on & not my other "Private"bits" you understand.

I still have a tiny bit in a bottle of Big Kev's Goo Remover!
    remember that?

I looked in Coles this morning and they have a citrus goo remover in the washing section for $5.70 which seems pretty steep .

Yep. Quite positive. A quick wipe off and a wipe with water might be ok.

Still remains that plastic and Eucy oil aren’t a happy combo.

Thanks. I will bear it in mind for the next time. Maybe I should let the Koala (that lives in a Euc. tree here) know that so he/she wont eat any plastic.

I've also tried gritty hand cleaner (citrus yukoff type), with limited success.

Initially, I'm not game to try petrol in case it affects the underlying grainy plastic surface, so anyone have recommendations/tips please?

As a old sign writer and applicator I found Kero often works well. Damp the glue, leave it a few minutes and I think it will come off. P38Dude

Tried that first off without much success.
I've managed to get most off, but still a little bit stuck/hiding in the grainy surface.
Traxide certainly uses good double sided tape!

Maybe he should also make available a 20 L drum of removal stuff?
