I think older ones also have a different hub nut part number - perhaps this is indicative of?

Close - £230 which I thought was inclusive of AU GST via DHL

I was wrong they’re £670 ex VAT. Less 7.5% discount.

Based on a recent comparison I did on LCA - Island4x4 were significantly cheaper on the freight cost than AF. Given their list price on the struts is cheaper I'd recommend anyone cross shops with a quote from Island4x4 before jumping straight onto the AF bandwagon - might be a few hundred AUD saved in there...

    I couldn’t find an equivalent D4 kit.

Interesting, when looking at AF for D4 BWI struts it’s 1002.35 GBP, then add freight and using the 10% discount code, I get to 1800 AUD. Splitting the order to save GST is what i will do.

I hadn't realised that D3 and D4 struts were different.

Here's the part numbers from Microcat (the bottom part number of the list is usually the latest version superseding all above):

    D3 Front:

Side note: D3 fronts are GBP 10.00 cheaper from Island 4x4 than D3 rear or D4 front or rears...

    D3 rear:

    RPD000306 - ДЕМПФЕР (DAMPER) [ - (V)5A303208 ]

    RPD000308 - ДЕМПФЕР (DAMPER) [ (V)5A303209 - (V)6A392099 ]

    RPD000309 - ДЕМПФЕР (DAMPER) [ (V)6A392100 - (V)6A999999 ]
    RPD500880 - ДЕМПФЕР (DAMPER) [ (V)7A000001 - (V)8A489925 ]

    RPD501090 - ДЕМПФЕР (DAMPER) [ (V)8A489926 - ]
    D4 front:

    D4 rear:

And Island4x4 freight quote to Tasmania is:

    Shipping is £182.00

Shipping code for the website checkout DHL182
A recent order of AUD 1,200.00 value from Island4x4 did not attract GST and/or Import Duty separately - presumably collected within the freight costs.

Interesting Scott, that means there must have been a change in OEM supply at some time. My original fitment are Delphi (MY11 D4 SDV6SE). They’ve done 205000km. I also read that replacement Delphi units had issues. I wonder if both the Delphi and BWI have the same shock absorber in them and that just the airbag is different.

Pretty sure there’s no strut difference between D3 and D4.

Edit- oops see now this is wrong but can’t see why the difference would matter as the rest of suspension is the same except for AMK compressor maybe.

I’d ask them for a kit price. It’s just a further discount for bulk.
