I also got the front LCA kit (complete arms plus bolts etc) from them for $677 AUD at the same time.

I will be doing the same order for the full set of struts , nearly did it yesterday but might take the gamble on a no deal brexit and hope the pound crashes... I did note that they dont offer a full set of D4 struts ... i assume they are physically the same but have heard varying reports of the shocks being different rate to D3 shocks..

Anyways it will be a january job for me i am thinking. My D3 is 01/08 build with 175k but the last 6 months very noticable thud when hitting a bump, almost like the shock doesnt compress at all... LCA less than 6 months old andcertainly a different noise to the rattle from the worn bush. Its noticeable to me as i dont drive the car very often so can usually pick things that dont seem normal.

I emailed AF and they advised that as we in Oz are outside the EU there is no change to vat or other duties, only a falling forex would help us out cost wise.
This is a January job for me. They also confirmed the part nos as provided by Scott LRD414 are correct for my D4, built Dec 10, checked against the VIN

When I brought mine in I did it in 2 orders to keep under the $1000 customs thing. It brought down the rate for me. The postage was only 20 pound extra to split.

Scott your first one will take about 30 mins. And then about 15 for the rest.. The longest part of what your doing is the lower ball joint. I really should order a decent tool for that.

No **** I did all 4 sloping driveway in 2.5 hrs.

Same. I think I recall the rear top bolt on the rears a complete PITA to access. I did mine on the driveway too.

It’s doing the rear arms that sucks!
And the front Sway bar mount - unbolt and shift the diff makes it easier.

No extra charges over what I stated earlier. I split into 3 orders; rear struts, front struts and lca kit, to which I added a driver door seal.

Thanks. I’ll get a ball joint tool in that case, although I’m not sure what to get really.
