Auto Elec in Perth who understands Traxide
For the second time, I have managed to flatten my two car batteries while connected to my van parked overnight. Car batteries are just over 12 months old (Varta and SSB to replace the yellowtop), and worked fine otherwise - I check the voltage with my wee multimeter every month or two.
I have to assume the Traxide 160 has been miswired in some form, or I'm missing a cutoff of some type. I have a grey Anderson at the back of the D4 for van power, and a red Anderson for ESC, plus a half used flat 12 pin for indicators and lights, and a brake failsafe with battery in the van
I was connected to house power overnight, and the van battery is fully charged. Van has one of those multi faceted control systems for solar charging etc (BM PRO Genius).
So, where to go? Maybe the one previously recommended on here in Osborne Park who seem to understand the vagaries of LR electrics?
EDIT
Luckily still had 1 original fob and key cos the 2 x eBay specials were fob only, with no key to get in via front passenger door. About to call Tristan on here to see if he can do some locksmith magic.
AND, I tell a lie. Only the main battery was flat at 3V, SSB was at ~13V when RAC came. Did a quick flick of the in cab Traxide control, but still no start - so back to re-read the instructions for me.
