Thanks heaps mate! Really appreciate your insights thank you.
Yes my local tyre guy was horrified when I asked him about Monsta- cheap Chinese rubbish he pretty much said!
Your comments help a lot thank you [emoji4]

Also can recommend the Monsta Terrain Grippers, we ran then on our 20" rims before swapping to 18's last year. Great all round tyres, given the limitations of the 20" rims, very good value for money.
We did plenty of off-road, some sand driving (a little unsettling when you drop the pressures down but performed well) never let us done. Obviously more noisy on road than a road bias tyre but never found it intrusive, handle well on-road wet or dry.
Hope that helps a bit with your decision, we got ours from Matthews in Sydney and a second set from Tyre Power in Orange (both needed to order them in).
I had Nitto TG 1 and then Monsta Terrain Gripper. I preferred the Monsta. It had better grip on wet tarmac where the Nittos were pretty bad. All were 265 50 20. I used both off road and was happy.
I now have Falken AT3W in 275 55 20 on my RRS. I would recommend the Falken over both of the others. Much better grip everywhere.
I've been running Nitto TG's for a while with no complaints but recently had cause to purchase two new tyres while on a 6 month road trip. Of those I could source in outback QLD, I chose Kenda Klever RTs in 285/50/20 (I've got 9.5 inch wide rims on my D4). I'm so impressed with them I've decide to put them all round rather than just on the back axle as they are now.
When I was looking at tyres I did quite a bit of looking around and ended up buying Nitto Terra Grapplers in 285/50R20 for my RRS and they have been fantastic tyre.
No issues at all and been on some stoney outback roads with them.
I would recommend them to anyone.
