Too high. Already checked it out but you’ll be on the body if you have a suspension failure which is a pretty big risk.

I'm on my second set of Maxxis 980 255/55 19. The first set did 60,000 km including Cape York, Cameron's corner, and plenty of rough roads towing a 2.5 T off-road van. No trouble at all other than moderate noise on highways. I run 50psi rear 45psi front (at 20C) and have only dropped pressures by about 10 psi when needed, because of sidewall anxiety. The first set seemed to wear fairly evenly and resisted some pretty sharp rocks. When you're on a good thing...
And a TPMS is a great comfort. Well worth the investment.
Hey Gavin,
My current set on my Prado are over 2 years old (close to 50,000km) and still going strong. Haven't noticed any degradation in terms of noise or wet weather handling and they've done some rough trips on fast/slow rocky dirt/gibber out in western QLD. I had Cooper AT3 on the Prado before that and I think the Pirellis are perhaps a bit better in the wet but nothing too noticeable - I was happy with the Coopers too. They were also significantly better in the wet than the old BFG AT. I'll be selling it probably soon so won't be able to comment on performance when they wear down to the latter part of their life. I'm never one for letting tyres get too far down in the tread anyway - not worth it in my opinion. Literally too much riding on it :)
Full disclosure - they are a 17" LT however I really don't think that would affect overall performance in terms of grip in the wet or dry. I'm also not interested in getting millions of km from a set of tyres as that typically trades off as terrible wet performance in my experience.
