Hi Nick, The engine is still smoking! I took a couple of injectors to be tested, they were so bad that I wasn't charged for the work. Now I have this suspension problem - the back end sinks overnight. I'll have to pull the fuses and check what happens. Still chasing down a connector location cart or a copy of the electrical reference library (English language version!)

I have some diagrams on a CD/DVD you can have.

    Head aches!

Since I replaced the park brake shoes, I have had a suspension problem - RH rear sensor voltage out of range (C1A06-1C). I fitted a spare sensor - no change, the engine ran and all systems seemed to function normally. I still had the park brake indication warning light but the park brake worked.
I made the mistake of disconnecting the park brake module connector and reconnecting with power on. Now I can't start the engine and I am getting a lot of 'Lost Communication' messages that I can't clear with the GAP tool and the park brake won't operate. Could there be a damaged circuit board in the brake module causing a loss of HS CANbus to the downstream modules?
Typical TDCs are U0101-87, U0128-87, U0102-87, U1A3-87, U0136-87. There are more TDCs but I don't have them to hand just now. The C1A06-1C message isn't showing now. The -87 suffix seems common to most of the messages, what does it mean?
    Any advice appreciated - Thanks

An update to show all of the current messages. U0001-87(Instrument pack), U0122-87 (Steering angle), U0122-87, U0100-87, U0101-87, U0128-87, U102-87, U1A13-87, U102-87, U1A13-87, U0136-87, U1A13-87(Suspension), B1D21-13(audio). These seem to me to point to a CANbus failure in the EPB module which is having an effect on all of the downstream modules. All of the system fuses check out as ok.
Next step remove the EPB module?

I've been doing a bit of checking on my latest problem. Can bus resistance is 124ohms with no power on the car. I disconnected the park brake module and jumpered the connector can bus pins to bridge out that module. Resistance is still 124ohms. with all of the DTCs I'm thinking that maybe the can bus terminal is damaged in the instrument cluster. I'll remove the cluster and check resistance across pins 1&2.
If the cluster is faulty, is there a company here in Australia that can repair it? I'm going to call Injectronics in Melbourne to ask if they can do anything. They list Range Rover on their website but no Discovery.
What else should I be doing?

Thanks DiscoJeffster for getting back so quickly. I've seen that other people have sent their cluster out to a crowd called Clusterrepairs in the UK, most recently about 4 years ago. I was hoping to find a local company as shipping is a bit chaotic just now and some UK companies won't ship to Aus.

I’m still getting things faster from the UK than the east coast. No idea on local sorry.

Yep, and it failed again a couple of years later. I just got a second hand cluster the last time and put that in instead. Much less hassle

Today I tried a spare instrument cluster that I have here. There was no change in the DTCs. Reinstalled the original unit. I have a spare park brake module so I'll give that a try next.
