So my D4 was throwing up some error codes now they have settled but the suspension is kinda doing weird things
It lowers into access height but immediately rises to extended mode, not happy to sit on access/normal height mode
First will share two pics from the two errors originally found on my icarsoft some week ago
1. pressure does not decrease when venting gallery - someone suggested a blocked compressor filter ?
2. rear right height sensor - last 6mths both rear left and right height sensors and rear valve block replaced.
both of these two errors no longer have been logged since clearing them.
Onto the live data...
3-4. height corners 37-39mm except the right rear at 52mm (significant difference here)
5. compressor temp at 45 degrees whilst just before it sat around 128 degrees which i thought was quite high ? might explain why the D4 is sitting so high on extended mode obviously the pump needs to work longer to keep the bags inflated i guess causing higher comp temp.
6-7. finally the calibration offset fronts the same, rear left -5mm, rear right +14mm (significant difference)
Help what's going on here, and what could be causing this issue please. Could the rear right height sensor be faulty causing my issues - could just buy another rear right sensor and see if that sorts out my problems which is the way I am thinking I need to go... open to suggestions please.
To me it seems it has no problems accepting air (raising susp) into the system and there are no leaks as such, but has problems releasing air to lower and being happy to sit on reduced air levels in access height/mode. Could this be the 'venting' error which brings me back to a blocked comp filter...

The difference in height readings is minimal and won't cause operational problems. Height calibration is meant to be done after replacing a height sensor but it seems that mostly the calibration isn't done. The sensors aren't a precise fit in their mounting so can be rotated to a certain extent when the screws are loose enough.
Rising to extended mode during lowering will be occurring because the vehicle isn't lowering when it should be so the system caters for an obstacle under the vehicle. Pressure not venting is a possible cause so best to pursue that rather than a faulty height sensor.
