Fyrlyts

I have Fyrlyts as well. Recommend them without hesitation.
Designed and made in South Australia and their service is excellent. Recently had a lens vandalised or come off. Spoke to Stuart about getting a new lens but mainly for advice on how to clean the reflector. Two new reflectors and two new lenses were sent to me at no charge. The original lights were way out of warranty. This is the beauty of their design. You can replace all parts individually. Any problems, give them a call and you speak to the guy who designed them.
Have a look at their web site where you will find an explanation of how light "works" and how it affects what we see at night.
Cannot recommend them highly enough.

Hi Mike. Just rechecked their website - impressive.
So, for we mere mortals who want a good spread and penetration, but don't regularly night drive or night drive at more than 100 kmph, would we "need" anything more than the basic kit?
I'd love to go beresk, but I'm having difficulty justifying the infrequent use of the up spec options against other would be nice/really should have if can afford type items.
Having said all that the high beam on my 2016 D4 is ok, but certainly nothing to rave about.
Lol your high beam is a joke compared to these. You’ll see.
LandyAndy has the basic Fyrlyt 5000's on his D4. He has always been happy with them. [wink11]
I have the 9000 Nemesis on mine. Great for out here or crossing the Nullarbor, but not much chop in Tassie, where I tend to leave them switched off and use the LED bar under my roofrack more.
