    I have that condition D4 auto tailgate never would contemplate this mod though D4 auto tailgate

    If it could be opened from the key fob,that would be better,then it would be open before one made a run to get underneath it.

    But yes,you are 100% correct,another piece of tech for the lazy ones,and something else to fail.

    Some people use two different sets of tyres. Maybe we could run two different tailgate operations - one for the Wet and another for the Dry.

    Used to do something similar in Series vehicles,door tops off in the dry....

    I have no thought as to why anyone would ADD that to a vehicle that doesnt have it standard.

    Just like a electronic handbrake, its quicker to operate it by hand.
