In German but useful video for non body off engine removal options. Might be helpful for someone else attempting this.

    Can get translation subtitles activated.

Thanks for adding the link - I had not come across this before and it seems quite detailed.

Play around with settings and you can get English subtitles auto translated.

He makes it look easy and appears to not have any blood oozing from his knuckles at any point in the process.

That's good to hear mate. At the moment I'm close to removing the body but just need to get some time in the shed 😊. Then I need to look at getting the old motor out....

It is heartening to know there are a few on hear that have done Territory swap, I will no doubt need to leverage some of that experience as I progress. 👍

Triumph Rover Spare are advertising new 2.7 long motor for $9900 which i thought was pretty good.

Having said above i do not know what a 2.7 territory motor is worth.
    Cheers

If that's for a brand new one then that's pretty good - it is cheaper by a few grand than the Ford retail price. For me, getting a second hand one for $2500 was pretty good value. Mind you it has 141000 km, but was a 2015 build, so relatively late which is what I was after.

    Small Update

Hi all, just thought I'd give a brief progress update: from one of the attached images you should be able to see 10 body mounts on the ground; I believe I am actually at the point where I can lift the body off the frame.....but I chickened out and thought I would quit while I was ahead Thought I would give myself some time to sleep on it and make sure I have done everything I have to....I just have that niggling feeling I've forgotten something .

One question I do have though is, are the body mount bolts reusable or should I just replace them with new ones? The rubber isolators also look a bit old and worn, is that something I should look at replacing also?

    Cheers.

Thanks for the suggestion - I have disconnected the emergency release cable from the keyhole and one shifter cable (hopefully there's not another one). 👍
