    lrjmparts eBay Seller

Has anyone had any experience with eBay seller lrjmparts? eBay show 100% satisfaction which I am always dubious of, but hey they may well be genuine.

Need to purchase a new Gear Shift Selector for my D4. Local spares are ~$1050. This eBay seller based in China is advertising for around $780 (assuming eBay collect the GST).

Some of the English spares mobs are similar, but shipping seems to be a bit problematic.

I personally would not by anything listed as genuine from a China based eBay seller.

The part from LRdirect is $677 including tax and 4-5 business day air delivery. I just used them as they show shipping costs via their website. Island have the part listed for £264 plus shipping/tax, you need to contact them for a quote.

Yes, a little dubious about their claims.

Not sure where you are getting $677 including tax. I can only see $740 inc taxes - LR090489 | Module - Transfer Shift Contro - Land Rover Part LR090489

    100% Ebay satisfaction rating like...

...Roverlord or Bundalene? If you ever deal with either, you would know why their ratings are 100% !

I've not dealt with them as they don't do D2 parts. No D2s in China..Lots of RR etc though....

No offer of Express shipping is annoying, but happens a lot these days..

Neither Roverlord nor Bundalene have the part. I've tried LRDirect, Island (as kelvo suggests) and Britcar, although can't see the pricing suggested. Waiting for some delivery costs from Britcar and Island.

I was basing it on part number LR060016 as you didn’t link to the part you were looking to buy. LR060016 | Module - Transfer Shift Contro - Land Rover Part LR060016

Ah, I see. Wonder what the difference between the 2 modules is.

You may have stumbled across a legit LR parts distributor based in China. Their products look legit and like most JLR parts they look to come from all over the world.

My only scepticism is they don’t have their own website with the address and contact details for their “bricks and mortar”shop front - only an eBay store - which is a red flag.

I bought a pair of lumbar support handles from them and for the D3 a couple of months ago and they arrived in genuine LR bags with the right labels. They look ok to me (the wheels not the vendor).

As such I can say they did ok by me.
