I do enjoy my toys… my bank balance doesn’t.

I've printed the sample one from Thingiverse and it looks OK. I don't see the legit ones being any more secure than the thingiverse version, because its easy to open with a screwdriver. If somebody wants to open the tow cover they'll get in easily.

I'm willing to bet 80% of old disco owners keep a screwdriver in the car. :) Screwdrivers, shovel, gloves ...

It is easy to use a washer to open it, store it in the cubby on the drivers side of the rear compartment. Even the Stealers don't charge much for them. Attachment 174582There is a small section which has my washer and the key to the tow hitch, and it doesn't rattle. As far as keeping the little blighters, a circlip works wonders. I find it useful to lubricate (vaseline is one option, graphite probably better) so it works easier.
