I'll give a vote to option 3 for tyre choice!

Recently (about 10K ago) fitted the Pirelli Scorpion AT Plus's on my D4! Can recommend these for sure - quietest AT tyre I've ever had and seem good all-round and especially in the wet too! Paid $1382(inc) for 4 tyres and wheel alignment (and disposal fee included) from local Tyrepower.
