Thread: Auto levelling air suspension issue - D3

Hey all,

I'm hoping someone may be able to identify the culprit in a strange air suspension problem plaguing my 07 D3. My disco, when parked over a number of hrs / days will eventually hit the bump stocks. I've noticed it takes roughly 24hrs for the back two wheels and 3 days for the front two to go down

After finally getting around to getting the detective cap on, I pulled the 20 amp fuse (as advised by a nice gentleman on youtube) to stop the auto levelling happening over night to help diagnose the issue. To my surprise after waking up the next morning the car hadn't gone down at all. I left it for a few days unused and at most I measured a few mm's difference. Oddly enough, when I actually needed to use the car, I put the fuse back in and the car which was set to normal height and the car went down considerably immediately after.

I'm now stating to think there's a dodgy sensor somewhere but I'm not the most mechanically or electrically minded person. Any thoughts?

Which is the only way if you dont have a good reader such as a Gap tool.

I had the same issue with mine numerous times,even with the Gap tool it was very difficult to work out exactly what is going on,particularly if there are no leaks,and corner valves are playing up intermittently,which was the main issue with ours.
Even leaks are very difficult to find,we had those as well,both front struts leaked,over a few years.
