Off topic, but I set up separate e-mail addresses when I have to buy stuff from organisations like that. Then once I've finished with them I delete the address.

Yep its the oils etc from your skin.
Can randomly attack that door panel top, the 3 knobs in the centre console, steering wheel.
They all go to a nasty sticky to gooey surface.
I've looked at taking the door card (as the top part while it looks like a separate section is part of the whole card) to my motor trimmers and see if they can do anything with it. This of course means, stripping the card off taking it in, etc etc etc... seems all a bit long winded
yet a toyota van from the 90's the surfaces are fine.
I have one of these kits out in the shed. Have yet to use it on the Disco, but have done one repair on the dash of the wife's Camry. It turned out OK and you can't really see where the repair was done now.
I have a small (about 15mm) hole in the top of my driver's door card, and another slightly smaller in the top of the dash in the Disco - both originating back in the days when I used to be a smoker and frequently smoked in the car on long trips. Have been meaning to patch both holes with this kit, but have gotta go and get me one of those "round tuit's". One of these days ....
