Front end alignment/ steering wheel position

After this (done by dealer) the steering-wheel seems to be set to the right slightly (allowing for the road camber) I feel it should it be neutral as it was before. Does this happen when TTM is not done correctly?

Agree. It wasn't centred correctly. Surprising how annoying it is.

Take it back. If the wheel is not centred, the alignment has not been done correctly. This is provided that your control arms and bushes are all ok. Worn bushes affect alignment.

Nothing to do with TTM set or not set though, just the aligner's idea of what's best.

I always found the “it is off centre to account for road camber” a cop out to not getting the steering perfectly centred.

A lot of multiple lane divided roads that we get around metropolitan areas camber to both the left and the right depending on which lane you are in.

The car will also fault if the steering wheel is to far off being central. I replaced my arms and it faulted on the way to wheel alignment.

Yes, mine did too. Its tied into the ABS module as well. I had the fault codes that HDC, ESC and ABS were not available.

ABS faults occur when the steering angle sensor direction of travel indication conflicts with direction indicated by the wheel speed sensors. The steering angle sensor is connected to the ABS ecu.

Which makes sense. Steering wheel not point straight ahead but all wheel speed sensors relatively equal frequency indicating straight ahead travel Front end alignment/ steering wheel position
