Hi M005,
i personally don’t know about D3 versus D4s and the Green Wire Splice. It was BradC who posted the fix and link. He is very active on the Forum and a really helpful chap. However you could PM him? His avatar with link is just a bit further up the thread.
Best wishes. We all know how wet it has been in Brisbane!! Please do let us know if your resolution?
merry Christmas
jeff.

As I only have a D3, I don't have the answer I'm afraid.
I did a bit of a search and turned up the following quote "I doubt that a '14 D4 has the same wiring setup like a '05 D3 especially that there are no green wires involved in the central locking on a D4" : Remote central locking wiring fault and the way round it. | LandyZone - Land Rover Forum
So as they say on Shark Tank : "I'm out".

.... and another resurrection of this thread
I had a big spill in the middle section of my '09 D4, had to pull out the seats and mat to mop up, clean up and dry out. Did not see any damage to the wiring that crosses from sides to center, but the passenger side gutter and loom were pretty soaked for a few hours.
Big job to clean up, battery was disconnected for safety during cleanup and to avoid discharge. Now all clean and dry, battery charged and connected, and I thought/hoped should be OK. But "Smart Key not found". Can start it by holding fob under column, but dash dark and most functions dark/disabled. No response to any fob buttons. No lock or unlock. No change after starting and running as above.
Checked the fobs, checked fob batteries OK, both fobs same as above - can emergency start but otherwise not recognised. Have rebooted by disconnect/reconnect battery - no change.
My indy is having a well earned rest until mid-Jan so hoping for some ideas here.
1) Manual is not clear, but I guess it's possible to drive it after the emergency start, eg to workshop?
2) Seems to me that fob receiver may be offline. (I don't have nanocom or similar). Where do the wires run to the receiver in a D4? Perhaps similar to the D3 as above, which suggests I should check the loom in the passenger gutter again.
3) other ideas or places to check? I'm fine with electrics, meters and soldering if need be but don't usually work on the Disco, so need some pointers.
4) maybe nanocom would provide more info? Anyone near inner Melb who could help?
Thanks all
