I’ll have to check my kit if I can find it. I’ve had it about 5-6 years.

AMK compressor only the o rings and desiccant are easily done. I also replaced the exhaust valve solenoid which you can get genuine from LR. Don’t know if mine was faulty but it’s only $60 part and my errors were exhaust valve related. Likely the good clean up did the job.

I got the same kit from 4x4 air seals. The previous owner was told the compressor was on its way out ( compressor is about 9 years old now), so for i trial and error i did the kit and the compressor still works well, it fills the tank in less than 2 minutes from being drained. Will see how much longer the compressor goes for.

I have owned my D3 for 7 years next month. When we bought it it had an AMK but I do not know its age. Prior to a recent trip along the Tanami I had it serviced. The mechanic noted that the dessicant was still looking like dessicant should with no powder evident, but had no way of telling how long before it caused issues. The compressor itself has not given any issues since I have owned it. Long may they both continue!

Looking at doing a rebuild as part of preventative maintenance. Is this kit the most comprehensive you can get? I noticed there is one with an electrical connector as well. Is it worth it?
    Thanks.

I think Tombie might be the man to answer that as he did his reasonably recently. I had mine attended to by Darwin Land Rover so have no knowledge to answer your question unfortunately.

    Hi All,
I pulled the compressor out this afternoon, that was easy. Took it off the mounting bracket and slotted the top hole for easier installation. Dismantled the drier and repacked with the new dessicant, removed the exhaust valve and solenoid and cleaned everything up. put the new o'rings in and lubed them with silicone grease, reassembled it all and I will fit it in the morning.
I'll update tomorrow after I know the results.
    Cheers
    LuckyLes
