Yes I have done that too, this time I was under the illusion that I had plenty but that is the only solution I can come up with after the interpretation of the IID listed faults.

It will just go up in the memory banks!

I also don't have the symptom like OP even though I ran it down to about 20 miles range on the dashboard with orange light came up. And once I filled up with 80L

Yeah. As you and I have said, I think the OP has a level sensor issue. Thinking about there being two, one dropping out triggering the alert whilst the other one keeps the dash thinking there’s still some in one of the tanks?
