For the money, it’s crazy. Great product, but people’s life expectancies are shorter than their lead times!

The new design promises to be more compatible with other brands, and the price honestly isn't as high as it sounds - bear in mind the website price is inclusive of 20% VAT, so you can take 10% off for Aus, factoring in the GST payable on arrival.
A Rhino Rack is about $2,200, so whilst the ProSpeed is a premium, it's not double. I don't mind paying more for a better product (we all appreciate quality on here - it's why we drive D3/4 right?)
I tried buying a second hand ProSpeed via facebook, but speaking with the guy, he was offered $4k, cash, to pick up that day by someone local. I struggled to justify more-than-new price for a second hand rack I would still have needed to courier to WA.
Well, here it is, the first of the new prospeed racks in Australia :-)
Silent in the wind so far - pretty happy. The future front will make it even better

What awning mounts did you use? I have the old Prospeed rack and they made a very nice (but exy) awning bracket (that folded down)
Looks flimsy and useless, I'd expect more for the price tag.
