I used to have a big habit, which became all consuming....
I'm getting better all the time, still got the Landy and Bike addictions but now it's more them that need a fix than me.....mostly.

Maybe there should be a separate thread for Landyholics

Thanks everyone - I'm taking my time to look around for a replacement. With luck the payout will be sorted soon after the assessor inspection this week.
Then we will be away in Bali for a few weeks, so I'm just going to google around and see what I find.
I'm even looking at a "lifestyle change" and checking out the BMW X5, but as I said, no hurry.
    Thanks again

    Yes,mate had one,what a disaster.

Replaced it with a TDV8 Audi, that was a cracker and no issues.

He has had the latest RRS on order for 8 months,LR recently contacted him and said the price has gone up,again, many features are now not available, and it is around another 8 months at least away.
    So the order is cancelled.
The next model RRS is EV only,so that is not wanted either.

    Nice Replacement Option

Just listed on Buy Sell Swap Landrover Australia, 2006 Land Rover Discovery 3 SE V8. LOW K’s, 4.4 V8

Maybe worth a look, as it has been well optioned, located at Berowra, NSW

A word on BMW X5s, I owned a V8 model a delight to drive, mechanically sound however high failure rate with the ancillaries including dash cluster.

One of my cousins bought his ex wife a X5 , thought it would be a good car for her, paid 27,000 , what a bargain, had it 2 years , spent another 22,000 in repairs and maintenance, sold it for 19,000.
I would be very cautious going down that road
