Any generic switch from vdo will be fine. Just read the manual to get the right set point. Then you wont have a weird thread to deal with

Finally got around to doing the oil pressure gauge and all is working very well.
About 12psi at idle
Only gripe is that the gauge is quite bright at night, there is a adjustment on the rear apparently so will give that a tweak.
Gauge & fitting kit from Rspec in the UK. Gauge pod from fleabay.
Sender fitting kit worked a treat, bit of medium locktight to seal the threads. 8mm bolt via supplied bracket was a pain to get started but worked out in the end. Sender and oil pressure switch nicely located out of the way.
I ran the twin core through some flex conduit and used the rubber gromet to the right of and slightly higher than steering column for access through the fire wall. philips head screwdriver punched through the insulation and drilled a small hole in the gromit to allow the cable to pull through.

All wiring connection made to the harness behind the lights control, easy to nut out.

Pod and its flex plate worked well however the sticky pads would not adhere well to the surface of the dash. A bit of CA fixed that. As the dash is cracked and hidden by the dash mat I am not worried about a bit of CA glue on it.
Mounted well away from airbags, hopefully . . . [bighmmm][tonguewink]
White light for daytime and . . .

Green at night, bit bright but will dial that down a tad.:bat:
