    Transfer Case Issue - L319 Discovery 4 SDV6

It appears I have Transfer Case problem, which began when I selected Low Range to run the vehicle a few metres back and forth as part of the routine service. Now the car is locked in Low Range with High and Low selector flashing. Running the IID tool gives two TCCM - Transfer Case error messages: P0915-00 and P181-00.
I have tried to re-calibrate the clutch but selecting High Range as part of re-calibration doesn't work. Could it be the transfer case solenoid?

OK, PROBLEM RESOLVED BY DOING THE FOLLOWING:

    1) Updated the Firmware on the IID GAP tool.
    2) Found the IID Manual (hard to find on the GAP web site - try IIDTool - Gap Diagnostic )
    2) Deleted the App on my phone and re-installed it to ensure the latest version.
    3) Got in the car and plugged in the IDD, started the engine and downloaded all the IID configurations.
    4) Ran the Clutch Configuration using the IID Manual and following the instructions:
    • Turn engine OFF
    • Select neutral, depress and hold brake pedal
    • Start the routine and follow the instructions on screen
    5) Success - it worked (previously the same procedure gave an error and without holding the brake the transfer case made lots of promising noises but ended up in Low Range and an the error above).

NOTE: The Transfer Case still makes a "clunk" sound about 4 seconds after shutting the engine off (see previous thread). So there may still be a problem there but at least the car is drive-able on bitumen.

    I hope this helps others.

    Cheers

Last service (130k) done a few months ago and transfer case oil ($$$) was changed as well as diffs.
Wondering if the actuator or solenoid is the problem?
