    Switch ignition off for camping

Hello all, I’ve got a question with regards to camping out of my car. Is there a way to stop the ignition sequence from doing its thing every time I open a door? I assume it won’t take very long to flatten the battery which would be rather inconvenient. I have had a look through the owners manual but I’m unable to find any answers.
    Thanks Paul.

No. Recommend you leave a door ajar like most of us do. You can turn off the internal lights by pressing and holding the front centre light button for a few seconds. You can then lock up at bedtime or when you’re not around.

I thought about fitting an inline switch on a door once to make it think it was open. Wouldn't be able to lock it. But not a real drama. Then I was going to put it in the tailgate. But then I forgot to test with the tailgate open.. Does a door still wake up the computers with the tailgate open.I really should finish things

Yeah. Doors still trigger even if the tailgate is open.
