The last one I bought was genuine (via eBay) from a locksmith at Breakfast Ck/Newstead. Not cheap but it programmed and works flawlessly.

best place to buy a D3 key ?

Did the same for the original replacement. It was Amalgamated Locksmiths in Newstead, and they are still listed as an eBay seller (now based at Northgate). Won’t be genuine now but they have a 99.4% rating.

Since then I have bought another from one of the many “Australian” based sellers on eBay (truth is most drop ship from China but try to find one with stock in Australia). All seem to be pretty low risk so if you buy one of the cheaper ones and have success then get a second as another back-up.

Haven't bought one off them (via eBay) in over 5 years - purely because the 3 I did keep working flawlessly.

Didn't know you had a D3, Ian. New?

Might try them for the D2. Had good luck with some from the US, listed as MG. As long as they are 433. A certain indie who shall remain nameless if not shameless lost all three. The ones I have now work, but the external buttons only last about a year.
