Excellent, that's what I was waiting to hear. Does your V8 HSE wear the same 255/60R18's my V6 SE does though?

And out of interest, how much were they so I have a ballpark when I start phoning round...

I bought GMAX 18inch rims, as the LR OEM were to exxy, I have 255/55/18's on mine, so 255/60/18 will be fine. I know a guy running 275/65/18's on his D3. From memory ( cant find the invoice) between $260-$300 a tyre..much cheaper than the HP's at $450 a tyre that I unfortunately had bought some 3mths earlier , try explaining 2 sets of tyres in 3 mths to SWMBO ,

Why new rims? Did your D3 have 17's or 19's to start with then?

I thought HSE's had 18's as standard even on earlier years, whereas the SE's only just got them on 2007 models? Plus, I thought V8's couldn't run a 17 anyway as the front brakes were bigger??

They came with 19's as standard, only tyre which finally came available were Goodyear Wranglers MT'R's at $550 a tyre , so was cheaper to get the 18inch rims with the AT2's plus more choice available with the 18's. And yes you are correct minimum size for the V8 is the 18's due to the brake callipers.

Oh Ok, I must have missed that part. I thought Jeff was looking for offroad tyres. Sorry
