Just paid for six Bridge LT265/65/17 pattern 694, 17" rims still have not arrived, so they are still at tyre dealer's.
After you decide on a brand, checkout who has what on special for each month. I got mine $50 each, cheeper than recommended price.
My old coopers HT+ on the rear were past it, so last month I had to get two just to keep the trundlebus on the road. At just over 600 I thought it better than a fine and then having to buy them as well.
Ryall
Ryall,
price isn't so much a problem as we have this car on 5 year lease with 3 complete sets of tyres built into the lease payments. So we pay same each month regardless of if I can get a set of tres cheaper or not. Mind you the negotiator in me loves to haggle so will see how I go! :p
got a price today on the Conti CC UHP 255/60R18 112V
$398 each fitted and dynamically balanced. Also ned toget the 4 wheel alignment done too.
Just waiting to hear back as to when the tyres will be in so I can book in a day and co-orinate with LR for the 60thou service and to set it into wheel align mode before it goes to the tyre place.
hoping these tyres will be much better then the wrangelrs
by the way the front tyres arent bad. >95% (was the new spare) on one, >75% on the other if anyone wants a couple of Wranglers let me know.
rears are only good for turning into pot plant holders.
sorry no steak knives! :D
