Reading through the press release text, there is a number of mechanical changes to the vehicle.

To HSE or not HSE ..........

It will be interesting to see if all engines are available with SE in D4
imports though LRA. This is now happening in many countries with D3
SE spec. If they pull the HSE ripoff again , I'll consider another marque
for faster engines. Having to buy a pile of electronic rubbish inclusions
to get decent engines is not now viable with the LCT reinstigated.
It will be something TATA can deal with.

Looks like an over weight RRS to me.

I thought the press release said the new TDV6 would be in "some" of the models. I hope this means that they'll be a "cheap" (er) S available.

    Yes thanks.
The earlier change-up of the latest box is music to my ears although on the couple of short drives of D3s I've had, its gbox seemed good anyway.

    Hi WhiteD3,
In the UK, they are retaining the 2.7L TDV6 for their base model. Whether that will be an option in Oz is another matter.

Both the 2.7L & 3.0L are TDV6 motors, so it looks like we are going to have to distinguish between them by engine size.

It also looks like they are dropping the manual gearbox from the lineup.

    Best Wishes,
    Peter

If the 2.7 was the SE and the 3.0 was the HSE , what would you do ?
