Bear in mind the kerb, or tare weight varies according to the definition used. Land Rover have used the EC definition which includes a 68kg driver and 7kg of luggage. Japanese manufacturers do not, hence the D3 appears heavier. Thus brochure weights are not necessarily exact comparisons.
A D3 is heavier than a RRS because it's longer, and usually has 7 seats.

they're only a couple of Kg each...and are made of some sort of "elastomer" ...you can remove/replace them laying under the truck ... balancing it in one hand and ...:mad:
P38s and (some) helicopters utilise them :eek:...common solution to high frequency vibrations caused by drive lines... (so I'm told...)
Just glanced through this review on the Prado. Weight quoted is 2435kg.
