I would agree ( most ) Our old Patrol ( soon to be sold ) has 200.000 on the clock, and will almost lift bitumen if wheeled around hard. Patrol LSD's are the exception though.

One of my sons bought a Patrol with plenty of kms. It had a clunky rear diff that turn-out to be an LSD that had normal diff oil used in it almost since new, as the previous (2nd) owner didn't know it was an LSD. A couple of flushes and it now works well.
