Thats great - thanks. While my dash cover has a little bump in it to allow for the sunlight sensor it is nevertheless still covers it - maybe I need to cut the bump out so that the sensor can once again see sunlight - though it does not seem to make any difference.
there are 2 speakers in each door, and if you got the L7 there are 2 more speakers up in the roof at the back, the fone gose thru the front speakers, ,, the park addes have there own speakers,
soz if it wasent clear but the head light and wiper sensors are both in that square pack on the windscreen, its simple sys of it looks at a reflection from the window and if that reflection is broken it wipes, allso if its contently broken it goses faster same as if you speed up it wipes faster,

And the sensor is part of the windscreen, not the rear view mirror. Having had a new windscreen in mine recently (and now in need of another one) I remember looking at it as the fitter unclipped the mirror to fit to the new screen.

the manual say;
The sunlight sensor consists of two photoelectric cells
that provide the ATCM with inputs of light intensity, one
as sensed coming from the left of the vehicle and one as
sensed coming from the right. The inputs are a measure
of the solar heating effect on vehicle occupants, and are
used by the ATCM to adjust blower speed, temperature
and distribution to improve comfort. The sensor is
installed in the center of the fascia upper surface and is
powered by a 5V feed from the ATCM.
the ATCM is Automatic Temperature Control Module (the heating head unit in the dash)
So your Temperature control being hidden is working but not effectively and not receiving info to adjust the blower speed.
I'd be cutting a hole in your cover to let the sunlight in:-)
