			TDV8's a stunning car / engine combo, as sniegy's alluded to the only real issues are the knocking suspension (but to be honest, TADTS) and the occasional turbo failure which requires the body to be removed to fix it. That's not as dramatic as it sounds though, any decent LR dealer / specialist will have the body off in no time at all.
I'll say this. If you have the cash to buy a TDV8 then drive one after first driving the TDV6. If you don't have the cash for a TDV8 then DO NOT drive it :p The new 3 litre TDV6 isn't that far off in terms of direct performance, all it lacks is the V8 rumble. It's one of the few TDV8's that actually sounds like a proper petrol V8.
