Either Bmw F800 GS or CBR 1100 Blackbird. Looking at bird in Launy Saturday 😀
The numbers look pretty good will probably be a keeper.
Going on a trip with 5 guys interstate later in year and I am the only one without a bike currently.
10 days around vic nsw. I was going to hire one and thought good excuse to get another.

    Cheers

Oh how I miss my blackbird! You gotta get the bird - it's a cult 10mm spacer on rear suspension and it eats up the corners

Yep, value for money that's my thinking. A fair bit of bike for 6k. Last one was ZZR 1100.
    Will see how Saturday goes.

I'd go the Blackbird as well, a great bike even for its age.

    Back to the OP

    Looking at buying a Supercharged V8, 2005, 180,000kms.
It appears from reading through the forum highway figures as low as 12s but expect 16s, and around town 16s - 20s.
Can folks confirm the above with experiences rather than opinions

Also, we have a 3.5 tonne caravan, at least that's the maximum gross weight for it. Anyone towed anything like this, horses, boats etc and what fuel consumption have you had. Does it go up to 20s, mid 20s, or 30s? I'd love to hear your experiences.

Also, the caravan has 350kg ball weight, does the airbag suspension cope with this and keep the rig level and in good trim?

New to LR technology, been using basic Toyota LC. Any info appreciated, I know diesels are prefered, been using them all my life, but toying with buying a toy, and this one looks neat so trying not to be tempted haha!
