Some of you guys are pretty hard markers. I own a 2012 L322 and love it. Prior to that I bought a new 2010 RRS and thought that was a pretty good car too. It took us and our camper trailer all over the Kimberley in great comfort and excellent reliability. As has our L322 - although it got more harsh treatment, on worse roads, and while even more comfortable than the Sport, suffered a pretty catastrophic shock absorber failure at one point.
My only real gripe with my L322 is the lack of availability of wheels any smaller than 20", which severely limits rough road ability, and plays havoc with my peace of mind. At least my Sport could fit 19s.
The MY11/12 were available with 19" but D4 19" also fit with only 3-4mm less offset, far less difference than the GOE's with 17-18mm lsss offset, not that they fit over the brakes. I had my D4's rims on the L322 for a couple of weeks until the larger 20" tyres were obtained.
I might still change to 19" when the current tyres need replacing.
Really? The D4 19s fit on the L322? I had no idea. Re the 275/55R20 tyres, I would have thought there would be some rubbing on full lock, no?
Edit: Whoops, seem to have hijacked Jazzman's thread, sorry. Can anyone point me at a relevant L322 thread about tyres?
