G'day Marty, fitting emulators is as simple as unplug (Anderson like plug) EGR. Plug in emulator. Do the same for the other EGR. Put somewhere in the engine bay. Mine sit on the shock tower.

Red cable ties...... really . Looks neat enough something else to explore on my return. I have to find out how much TRS charge to remap the engine ECU.
Yeah man. I thought it was like red Brembos. . Or maybe not.

G'day;
Just reading your thread and wondering if you've considered going non EGR (complete removal).
My 2008 RRS tdv8 is now losing coolant at an alarming rate when towing with no obvious power loss, overheating (with coolant still present) or any other symptoms of a blown head gasket.
Without dismantling my diagnosis is failed a egr valve or cooler on the right bank due to steam from that exhaust pipe.
Has anyone done a complete egr removal or know of a shop that does it including remap as I suspect I will be up for similar costs to replace failed parts?
I'm open to any advice.
Cheers.
Have you checked the thermostat for leaking? It is a pretty common failure. I had to replace mine at about 117 00km. About 4.5 hours work and the EGR valves have to come off to access it.
My thermostat housing was replaced at 178,000km.

I should have pointed this out earlier from the 2nd pic above. Just out of interest the EGR plugs are sitting directly over the EGR outlet to the manifold. It's the pipe covered with a silver coloured mesh.
