    EGR delete/ECU tune

Finally decided to get this done on my RRS 3.6 TDV8 as no other physical way of blanking the EGR,s apparently.
Will be done tomorrow so will post results after a do a bit of test driving.
Anyone else dad this done recently.? If so how has it worked out?

    Cheers

You can get the blanking plugs fairly cheaply. And EGR emulators that keep the ECU happy (and the valves closed). I have both but neither fitted as yet so can't comment on anything apart from availability.

Never been able to find any blanking plates and did see the emulators. Decided to go this way as get the latest factory updates and a performance tune to boot.

I did emulators. It has worked out well.

But I think a tune with mapping out the EGR is another great option. Evo was very happy with his tune.

All good so far, very noticeable difference in power and the lag has reduced significantly- much more confident at the roundabouts where before i went so close to getting T boned due to slow response.
