    Auxiliary battery location?

Can anyone post pics of where.how installed an auxiliary battery in their RRS L320 V6 model (2012 specifically).

I am looking for ideas on where and how to mount fridge battery.

Has anyone mounted a lithium battery (smaller) in the rear anywhere?

    Thanks in advance

I’ve got a Traxide dual battery set up with Optima D34 battery sits just in front of main battery will take a pic tomorrow. Contact Tim Drivesafe or Google traxide dual battery kits. Purpose designed for these cars. Has worked flawlessly for last 5 years

Thanks - yes know Tim was out there last month to pick up a usi -160 unit for Bumblebee my off road hybrid. I see it uses the same unit. Like the way can also plug solar in the back.

So will use his gear it was more where to locate the battery.

Hi Skiboy, if you fit a lithium in an RRS ( and any other vehicle ) to charge it properly, you will need a DC/DC device.

At this time, it is not really that advantageous to fit a lithium battery system over a standard battery setup in your RRS.

BTW, I now sell Sterling Battery to Battery ( DC/DC ) gear, for lithium battery setups, but again, the standard setup is still the optimal way to go.

    Ok thanks Drivesafe

Will be looking to get kit for RRS once I have it purchased (delivered end of month) to locate battery in front as per post above and your USI 16o.
I will need Anderson in rear for van for 3way fridge plus your upgraded rear cig plug for fridge in car.

I presume it is the D4 kit - not sure I follow the difference between all the options but the last one with the USI 160 allows the solar from the rear same as I got for Bumblebee is the one I think.
