    Suspension Rattle

My car has now done over 150,000km and still has its original suspension components - the front is rattly and I will order some new lower suspension arms from Advanced Factors and get them fitted - the front right mount is a bit bent from hitting something but still aligns ok so when the arms are being replaced the mount will need a bit of bashing back into place.

However the back end really makes more noise than the front - so I guess I will need to also do the rears as well which means things will get expensive.

I thought the rears lasted a lot longer than the fronts but in my case this would seem not to be the case.

Is there anything special about replacing the rear lowers or do I also need to consider the uppers.

    Thanks

Does the noise lessen or disappear if cornering on a rough surface? I am betting that the rear sway bar D bushes are the most likely suspects.
The Isuzu 110. Solid and as dependable as a rock, coming soon with auto box😊
The Range Rover L322 4.4.TTDV8 ....probably won't bother with the remap..😈

When the front rattles - the rear also rattles but louder.

I intend get suspension arms with rubber bushes but I have heard that aftermarket plastic bushes work well in the sway bars - any thoughts on these?

    Cheers

Absolutely do not fit anything but OEM/ genuine. A squeak squeak squeak is something you would not want to put up with..😲
