    Information on roof racks neded.

Hi, I have a 2013 L320. When purchased it came with a track system for a rack on the roof, is this standard? Purchased a set of Rola racks for my model but they are for bolting to the roof. Has any one fitted Rola Aero racks to the rail system?

It's probably a Rhino. I think Rhino are the only ones making a track system roof rack for an L320. That's what I've got on mine.

You most likely have the factory rails, you will need to change the legs to suit the rails.

Those rails are part of the genuine accessory roof cross bar and rail system. Standard just has a flat plastic trim.

You can remove the rails with 3 torx screws each side and then your bars should go straight on the roof if they are that type. Alternatively you could find some genuine cross bars to suit the rails on your roof.

I’ve just removed a genuine rail and cross bar setup off mine as I wanted the cleaner flat roof look. If you do decide to remove the rails the 6 holes in the plastic trim are plugged with clips available from LR. I can get you the part number if you go down that track.

    Roof rack rail fix

In the end I purchased a set of Rhino Rack RLT600 legs. These fit the factory roof rails. Then select whichever cross bar you like.
The leg are great. They allow for quick removal and fitting. There is a fitting that stays on the rails but the bars are removed. Installation takes 30 seconds per bar.
