RRS 2007 TDV8 - more black smoke less power

I bought mine from Britpart in UK but there are probably local suppliers as well. Both of my TDV8’s did have a bit of an oily film in the hoses so I would say a film is ok, any more would be a concern. Will leave that to the experts to quantify.
Good luck with the sport- they are a great drive- just keep the maintenance up.

Great result! Really pleased it's that simple, easy and cheap
If you don't mind lairy colours you can get the silicone hoses most places. If you want black then it's harder. I got mine from Leyland Hose in the UK. They make them in India. Good to deal with, but not cheap. Land rover silicone turbo hoses | Leyland Silicone Hoses Britpart have them, and eBay is another option. In the meantime you can try cleaning the hose really well and wrapping with lots of electrical tape or self fusing silicone tape as a quick temporary fix while waiting on parts.

Was going to fit a silicon induction hose to my RRS but the Indi advised to stick with the LRO original type as the silicon hoses have been known to slip off .

I just ended up getting oem ones from here - Land Rover Parts - HEATING 7 COOLING SYSTEM - RANGE ROVER SPORT - was $80 each compared to $130ea quoted from Darwin Landrover.

I've wrapped it with silicon tape but there is quite a whistle now if I put my foot down a bit - seems it didn't quite seal it properly - but power is back and no smoke!

Yeah it was just a thin film of oil in the pipes so hopefully ok.

Split intercooler hose was my car problem too and the split was on the bottom too. We were up in Cooktown and towing a 25 foot caravan when it started blowing smoke. Ordered new hoses from Cairns and all was good.
