    Model differences

I am about to purchase a MY11 or MY12 RRS but I cannot find a list of the differences.
Does the tailgate split on the MY12 as it does on the MY11?
    Is the HSE worth pursuing?

Probably a better way to approach a purchase is to build a list of desirable options that you want and use that to select prospective vehicles rather than model definitions. There has always been a wide overlap between models with regard to what you can option up on a base model with regard to what is standard on the next model up.
When I was ordering my Disco 3 I toyed with ordering a manual but it was only available as a base model which I could then add my other desired features to, these being 7 seats, leather and the midrange stereo. This all added up to about the same price as the next model up but there were some things such as HID headlights that could not be had on the base model. The same thing applies to RRSs and whilst my L494 is an autobiography I have seen HSE models with more fruit on them, having been optioned up.
Early deliveries after a refresh also seem to have more goodies on them as dealers order floor stock with all the new features.

    Regards,
