    Rrs tdv8 2010 rough idle still after 15k mechanics😞

    Hi , my first post, i have spent 15k on specialist rrs mechanic cant find oroblem also sent car to specialist diesel mechanics cant find problem they have changed pumps injectors ecg remap fuel regulator fuel filter rails but still fuel pressure too high , I’m at the end of my wits any one with ideas ?codes say fuel pressure too high from what mechanics say.

    Has the fuel pressure sensor been replaced? IIRC the sensor is supplied with a new RH fuel rail so if that has been replaced then so should have the sensor, but worth asking the question.

    Have the EGR valves been replaced or blocked? My brother has discovered that one of his EGR valves is incorrectly reporting the valve position which while it hasn't caused rough idle, it has been causing frequent reduced performance. Unplugging both EGR valve electrical connectors has solved his problem.
