    Diff questions

Hi troops! I have a 2007 RRS TDv8, which requires work done on both front and rear diffs.

Would the diffs out of a 2011 3.0 SDV6 RRS be the same as the diffs in mine?

Can anyone recommend a diff mechanic in Melbourne?

    Thanks!

Bearings and seals can be sourced aftermarket. Try Advanced Factors who do kits.

Diff ratios vary depending on the engine so you need to research carefully before buying.

    Diffs

2003 td5 378,000 still using original diffs. Why are rr and 3 and 4 stuffing diffs. Are they really made from rubbish metal. Hard to believe these r supposed to be off road vehicles.

What makes you think they are stuffing diffs? No better and no worse than any other diff. If serviced correctly they last just as well as any other.
